“Who am I?” - the question that arose in Socrates’ mind more than twenty centuries ago - became one of the central questions of philosophy throughout the ages.
It’s a complicated question that can’t be answered in just a few words. O Captain! My Captain! I am a boat on a voyage, searching for its harbor. I ride the raging waves, guided by a lighthouse, meeting my own dolphins and miracles along the way.
Doors open, doors close. Life is full of chances and surprises. I am the greatest adventurer of my own life. I fall into rose bushes; I climb out of muddy puddles. I meet wonderful people and feel the spring rain wash over me.
They call me a HCMUT student. They call me an engineer. They call me whatever they want. But what do I call myself?
I don’t know what else to say about myself, because no collection of nouns can fully describe a human being, and I won’t compress myself into some definitions. And at the end of the day, I am Linh, la la Linh.
Thank you for visiting this little corner of the Internet, among billions of places you could have chosen.
Your Homo Sapien,
Linh.
P.S. If you’re overwhelmed by the organized chaos of this place, here are a few good places to start: my research on shaping a Graph-of-Models, my reading log, or projects I’ve worked on.
