15. Sói thảo nguyên - Hermann Hesse

A work that I found unattractive, it took me a lot of willpower and effort to finish this book. The book is like a fever dream of a man that I found cringy. I can’t relate to the pain and conflicts inside the Steppenwolf. Or another way to say, it’s only tell, no show. I have to admit its wordplay is interesting, but still, very lame to finish.

16. Cát bụi chân ai - Tô Hoài

This is the third time I finish this book. There is no more the stunning feeling of the gay intimate scene. I finally understand the structure of this book. The author didn’t write in linear timeline, but a messy chaos of things. The center of the story is not the author himself but Nguyễn. And my conclusion that, Nguyễn isn’t beautiful, but in Tô Hoài’s eyes, Nguyễn is beautiful.

Rate: 4/5. I don’t find any reasons to re-read it again.
